Equipment Classes--

A quick note on Equipment  classes
Equipment  Classes are a unique way to experience the reformer and tower in a small group setting. Classes are usually between 3 – 5 people allowing the instructor to give personal attention and make modifications so that clients can progress safely and effectively through the exercises. All Classes provide a total body workout which will improve strength, flexibility, posture, balance and stabilization

Introduction to Pilates Fundamentals  I   (Reformer, Mat and Tower)
An introduction to the basic movement concepts and Pilates exercises on the Reformer, Mat and Tower.  This class is not only for beginners, but for those who like to progress at a slower pace. Let your Pilates obession start and continue here!  Pilates can be  quite addicitve! 

Pilates Fundamentals I  (Reformer, Mat and Tower)
These are the class of all classes! After completion of the introduction to  Pilates Fundamentals  students will be ready to be guided through the next  selection of Reformer, Mat and Tower exercises during Fundamentals I.  This will  appeal to those who enjoy a dynamic class,  sure to challenge!  You will feel taller, stronger and more lean after this class!  Requires instructors approval to participate!

Pilates Fundamentals II (Reformer , Mat and  Tower) 
For those who a ready  Fundamentals II on the  Reformer , Mat and Tower  we will progressed to the next level. During this class you will not only learn new exercises but  learn to link these exercises with transitions to allow the class to flow seamlessly.  Requires instructor’s approval to participate!

Pilates Fundamentals II/Jumpboard
10 - 15 minuntes of jumping is incorporated into the Pilates Fundamentals II workout.  A great way to add some cardio to your pilates workout.

NEW Jumpboard Challenge/Jump and Jive
GET READY TO WORKOUT.. YOU WANT CARDIO... HERE IT IS..... Not only will you improve your stamina, but will tone your abdominals (you have no choice!) legs and glutes and we will throw in some arm work to round it off. Try it. You will love it.

Intermediate and Advanced Reformer  (Reformer)
For those who are ready to take Pilates to the next level.  Students will be introduced to many new and challenging exercises. This is a total body workout. It challenges the body’s optimal strength, flexibility and endurance. Requires instructor’s approval to participate!

Pilates for Men  - The Thinking Man’s Workout.  This class is a necessity for all men
Classes designed purely for the guys….. it’s not the Gym, its not Yoga, it’s Pilates!  Whether you want to improve your golf or tennis swing, tighten up the abdomen, run faster and without pain, or are just sick of feeling stiff and achy.  This class will make you stronger, more powerful and more flexible and will improve balance and stabilization.
We are offering two classes for Men only:  " Totally Apparatus  for Men" which focuses primarily on the chair and Reformer and "Mens Mat Challenge"  focusing on Joseph's Mat work.

Triple Challenge 
During this six week course you will work on the Reformer, Tower and Chair.  A terrific way to experience all 3 apparatus  if your schedule does not permit you to take all 3  separately.  Requires students to have participated in a Pilates Fundamentals I or receive instructor's approval.

LUNCHTIME POWER WORKOUT - 30 MINUTE JUMPBOARD CLASS
Ready Set Go!  You have 30 Minutes and you want a great Lunch time Workout.  Here it is. ... Not only will you improve your stamina, but will tone your abdominals (you have no choice!) legs and glutes and we will throw in some arm work to round it off. Try it. You will love it.  But be prepared for a WORKOUT!

NEW Six Pack Challenge
Get ready to take your abdominal muscles to the next level of toned! just in time for the summer. This is not a workout to be missed. Pilates experience needed to get the most out of this fast paced class. Guys welcome!

Mat Classes --
All mat classes run in 6 week sessions

Pilates in your Pocket  - Mat Class  Level I and II    6 week Course
Over the years, many clients have asked if we would write down exercises that they could do at home or while traveling.  In response to popular demand, we have created a unique workshop where you will not only get a fabulous workout, but you will learn the Basic Classical Mat routine and be able to take it with you, exercising at home or on the road!  Each week, students will  begin class with a powerful mat workout.  We will then focus on one section of the series, breaking it down so that students thoroughly understand the importance of proper execution and awareness of their movement patterns.  Students will be given study guides and homework at the end of each class.  Upon completion of this 6-week workshop, students should be able to perform the entire Basic Classical mat workout after taking Level I and the entire intermediate mat workout after Level II on their own at home - thus named “Pilates in your Pocket”!

Power Mat and Props and Circle class   Beginner /Intmediate levels offered.
This group class challenges strength and core stability with the use of props such as magic circles, medicine balls and weights. Two  levels offered. Beginner and Intermediate.  Modifications will be shown !  An excellent compliment to other workouts!

Chair Classes --
All chair classes run in 6 week sessions and are limited to 4.   Early registration recommended
The Chair (also known as the Wunda Chair) was inspired by the equipment used to train Chinese acrobats and circus performers.  It  improves strength, stablity and flexibility. It also helps correct imbalances, refines movement and provides variety and a challenge to those who are already taking Reformer and Mat.  It deepens the understanding in the body of what is happening on the mat and reformer.  You will literally feel EVERY  muscle in your core working while exercising  on the chair.
